Good idea for involving a very close environment with the culture.

Food and drinks great, the staff attentive and friendly, can only be recommended.

I still know it as a Kreuzberger. Nice service and nice outside seat away from the hippest hustle and bustle. Hygiene concept implemented in an exemplary manner. Once you've seen that, you don't understand why restaurants have to close again.

Good quality but relatively expensive

Great restaurant, upscale Bavarian cuisine, has done a lot in recent years! Very nice waiters, we like to be there!

Good food, good service

Quick and easy reservation through Quandoo. Immediately get a seat for the same evening. Very kind and quick condition! The restaurant has a quaint touch, which can also be found on the menu. This is very clear, which we found very pleasant. The food was delicious. Very tender pork fillet and the Munich schnitzel was something completely different and a great recommendation from the waitress. The location is right in a residential area, but it doesn't do much to discount it. If you are lucky, there are parking spaces on the street.

An experience, sensational cuisine, very friendly staff, nothing is impossible, just ask, the kitchen makes it possible. It can also quickly become a second living room. Many thanks to the team and the young host Fabian who knows how it works, he is always there and greets every guest personally.

Loveless kitchen, complicated reservation, service overwhelmed. In the past, Kreuzeder was a real recommendation, today as Maximilian it is rather below average. Unfortunately a loss in the quarter.

The best beer! Very tasty cuisine and the service was fantastic! Apparently you can even Schaffkopffen, which is not common, but belongs in a proper tavern ... I'll be back soon :-)

Perfect service! Very nice staff and really good food (also suitable for vegetarians). There is also a small portion of each dish - which is very pleasant. Worth a recommendation in every respect!

The restaurant offers a great atmosphere for celebrations or a cozy meeting of friends or family. The food consists of special ingredients, but occasionally consists of unusual combinations. The staff is "good" in good Bavarian style.

The entree was nice but unfortunately we left 2 hours after we got there, because our mains never arrived. Not a good experience. Saw previous reviews about slow service but didn’t realise it was *that* slow. I’d suggest only going if you don’t mind hanging out for awhile, and don’t have anywhere to be afterwards!

Cozy and delicious it is just like that. I have never tried anything there that I did not like. Maximilian is rather expensive, but if everything tastes so good I can only recommend it.

Good food and drinks. The Münchner schnitzel Was excellent and very reasonably priced for the portion size.

Great food, from roast pork (which is far too rare) to Munich schnitzel, roast chicken lettuce or risotto. The staff is always really friendly, families are welcome too. Before Christmas there are also some live music on Sundays. In the meantime, unfortunately, the price has been overdrawn, hence a star deduction.

Very plain, drink selection simply not very good, they offer ONE gin (from Germany..) tables poorly presented just with a Krug with cutlery and no flowers, service not friendly and not helpful, prices far too high for what you get. For the same price you could go and have food at a top restaurant in Munich! The food simply tastes bland and no reference to organic meat or veg and where ingredients actually come from. Overall: Not worth it, there is better places with far better food and it is especially too pricey!

A great take on German food, with plenty of vegetarian options, and a classic atmosphere. This is my go-to place when visiting friends want to eat German food.

Fantastic experience. The waitstaff was wonderful, service was relatively quick, and the food was some of the best I’ve ever had. For English speakers, the staff speak fluently and they have an English menu. Splurge on the Münich Schnitzel, it’s absolutly worth €20. It is also dog friendly and the atmosphere is very German. It didnt feel like a tourist trap but an actual German restaurant. Looking forward to my next trip!

It's a very good modern bavarian restaurant.. hidden ..not the ..inner city stuff..waitress was awesome and beautiful like the hole place or location.. Worth every Euro..ju and Pete

I’m pleased to give a great review .....This is the place on the corner. I gave a review before, and at that time, I gave three stars, and mentioned that the owners seemed to be iterating a lot of menus and I thought it likely they would get it right. They have. The staff is exceptionally friendly and quick, the food is very good and just traditional enough to be traditional, while not being average. Schweinebraten is available two nights a week, and there are nice specials for lunch too. This is a local restaurant, and I’m happy to say I go with my family quite frequently. You‘ll like it here.

Cozy, nice and good bavarian-fusion dishes

Classical Bavarian food on the menu and of course classical Bavarian beer to that. Not much to say of the food, you get a big plate so you will not go hungry. But what I really like was the service and the personnel. Super friendly and eager to help out. Spoke perfect English as well. Will come back for sure. :)

Great place to eat out and to have a pint of tasty local beer. It's a busy place in the evening so it's probably a good idea to book a table in advance. You could also chance it like I did and show up out of the blue (early enough) hoping to get a seat. The Schnitzel here is one of the best I had in Munich. The price is a bit steep, but totally worth it. The staff is very friendly and chilled. I would absolutely recommend this place!

The food is described in a fancy way but In my opinion it's actually a bit overpriced for what they offer. Pretty atmosphere anyway.

Your friendly local wirtsthaus that is tolerant of drunk tourists who stumble in at midnight, so long as they pay the bill.

Tasty traditional food, a bit expensive tho

Actually ended up here by accident, but will definitely come again! The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Was also surprised how beautiful and appealing the dishes are decorated. In addition, you can sit comfortably outside and the waiters are very friendly and advised us very well.

Good food and friendly staff, the tables outside are really nice and the neighborhood is pretty quiet. We had the Schnitzel which is good (but I had better ones) and the Spanferkel which was amazing!

Supergood bavarian food! Me and my friends were chocked actually. We tried alot of different places. Nice atmosphere and cool friendly staff!
